An 80-year-old grandmother is proving that you are never too old to do what you love if you have the passion and the knowledge. Marion Finlayson from Aberdeen has returned to modelling after she initially gave up that career path in the 1940s.
Although she is always happy to take a break in riser recliner chairs, Marion has found herself leading a very busy lifestyle since her return to modelling last year. Although she modelled in her late teens and early 20s, she gave up the glamorous career to fulfil her dream of becoming a teacher, but returned to the catwalk for a charity event in Aberdeen.
She still showed she had what it takes on the catwalk and her fame soon spread; she was a guest on ITV’s This Morning in September last year and was watched by millions. She now divides her time between being a grandmother in Aberdeen and taking regular modelling jobs in Glasgow.
